BECOMING A Resident OF HOUSE OF COMPASSION

STEP 1: DETERMINING ELIGIBILITY

House Of Compassion Is Appropriate For Individuals Who:

• Are living with a severe and persistent mental illness;
• Qualify for rent geared to income accommodation (living on a limited income);
• Require and desire the level of support that we provide;
• Do not require more support than we provide (i.e. must not be eligible for chronic or other institutional care); and
• Are ambulant (including but not limited to being able to independently climb stairs, get in and out of a bathtub, open doors)

STEP 2: COMPLETING AN APPLICATION FORM

If the eligibility criteria described above is met than an application form should be completed and submitted in order to be added to our wait list. The mental health supportive housing wait list in Toronto is managed by The Access Point.
